AQM 3-1 tankless electric water heaters are designed to provide tepid water around 90 to 100 degrees F (32-38 C) for hand washing at 1 standard low-flow (.5 GPM) lavatory sink. AQM 3-1 models are shipped with 0.5 GPM pressure compensating flow reducer/aerators that fit on most faucets and should be installed. AQM 3-1 models require 120 volt electric service, 1 dedicated 30 amp breaker, 10 gauge copper wiring, and have 3/8in plumbing connections, not included. AQM point-of-use tankless water heaters are 99% efficient, heating water instantaneously and endlessly and, unlike tank water heaters, have no stand-by energy losses. AQM tankless water heaters, meticulously engineered in Germany, are manufactured in the USA with great care and the best materials to provide years of trouble-free service. AQM tankless electric water heaters must be installed vertically, with water fittings pointing either up or down, and should be installed with detachable water connections (such as braided flex connectors) to allow periodic filter cleaning.
